Sacramento Women Achieving Greatness' mission is to engage, educate, empower, and support a diverse community of professional women through our 3 pillars: Personal and Professional Development, Philanthropy, and Public Policy. SWAG is dedicated to creating a sisterhood that is committed to enriching our community while helping the women and girls of Sacramento become the best versions of themselves. SWAG is a registered 501(c) 3.
SWAG was founded by Shayne Corriea-Fernandez, with the idea of creating a sisterhood that consisted of not only her peers, but women with different backgrounds that were interested in more than a sisterhood. Women that wanted to be a part of an action-oriented network focused on philanthropy and bettering their community at large: a truly altruistic sisterhood. Shayne built SWAG by establishing a Board of Directors consisting of women with multifaceted professional backgrounds and full of fresh ideas. Through Shayne's endless dedication and the board's support, SWAG has a growing following, with over 400 women and more joining each day. SWAG is dedicated to philanthropy, support, and creating a life-long sisterhood dedicated to not just each other but all of Sacramento's women and girls.
SWAG is prospecting for the following board seats and committees:

Our first COVID fundraiser was a huge success. We hosted a hybrid event with most of our attendees in person and some virtual for this paint by numbers event. We were sold out with 30 attendees in person and a dozen online. We had four pics to choose from and everyone received a bottle of wine for their table. All proceeds went to programs for 2022.
Our members were pampered during their annual Membership Appreciation brunch. This year the event was virtual but we still had an amazing time. Each member had a hand delivered box filled with items to make their own soap, snacks, Grub Hub gift card and joined Anita Ross for an hour of self care/self love exercises.
Anita Ross was the recipient of the award and we celebrated in Roaring 20s style virtually. It was an amazing event and each attendee picked up their SWAG bag filled with a Bees Knees cocktail kit and charcuterie board.
We have a robust workshop and event schedule for 2021 and we need your help to pull it off. Due to COVID our membership fees have been cut more than half and we did not have a fundraiser in 2020. If you are able to help in any way, we would greatly appreciate your generosity!
